Happy days. Lina is finally gone! That brat of a cat has now left the building. We've put up with a b*tch cat since October of last year and now her owners have taken her back. I have a feeling the karma in Joan's house will be much more positive now.
I hate to admit it, and I prefer not to send out negative vibes or personal insecureties to you all, but the idea of going back to high school is really scary to me. Recently I told Chris, my old choir buddy, to tell the choir and Mr. Frascarelli that I would be attending their chorus concert this evening. It's been a year, they've been waiting for me to visit them, and I've been meaning to go 'cuz I miss 'em all so much, yatta yatta but there's that one bit of uncertainty about setting foot on campus of my alma mater. Heck, high school wasn't terrible for me at all. But after being able to experience the real world away from the constraints of fashion trends, cliques, narrow minds, immaturity, and drama I'm feeling a bit reluctant to go back for one evening despite the fact that I'm doing this because I still care. You know?
I'm reassuring myself that it's not some kind of class reunion, I'm not going back trying to look like I've made something of myself in the last year, faking my true personality in hopes that they still like me, but I still have this outrageous idea that my presence there won't be welcomed. And you don't know how many people I've been trying to call to find someone who'd like to come watch with me, my friends are choosing not to answer the phone these days.
Nonetheless, I'm still going to go. I'm looking forward to see Chris, Mike, Dave, my choir gals, and Mr. Frasc. I miss them. Tonight's a good night for a chorus concert.
Now this is more like a request: For you webmasters, what kind of FTP program do you use? The CuteFTP evaluation program has expired and won't let me set permissions of cgi files and I'm looking for another FTP program that will let me do so. It's what Julia signed in the guestbook that made me decide to bring back a commenting system to my posts. I just needed that one person to tell me that they read my blog and actually want to comment on what I talk about. Thank you girl! (comment)
02MAY26;12:27am I heart Norah Jones and her lovely jazzy music. If I can I might see her in Massachusetts with Malyna in July. Little did I know she's playing at Foxwoods Casino(!!!!!) the next night. w00t. and ticket prices aren't that bad. I really can't believe how many great people are coming to Foxwoods in the next few months, I wish I had enough money to take Joan and I to each. The Go-Gos were great last summer. Al Arsenault is playing in the Intermezzo Lounge now, he plays some good jazz also.
And don't even get me started about the line-up Mohegan Sun Casino has. This wednesday Alanis Morissette, Ashanti, B2K, Craig David, Ja Rule, Ludacris, Michelle Branch, Nelly, Tweet and Vanessa Carlton are coming to town(@!%@$^@$^ I'm broke & it wasn't brought to my attention earlier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Plus Alicia Keys, whom a certainly lucky lady is going to see.

I stayed at Joan's house this week. Since she had to go into work since tuesday I've been doing things around her house, cleaning, cooking dinner, etc. Lemme tell you I make a good housewife. I swept and cleaned all the dusty crevices in the living room and I do believe I have cured my morning allergies. I sleep on the sleeper in the living room and only in this house have I always woken up sneezing. The last couple days I haven't sneezed at all. Yay! So keep your house clean. Dust is evil. It gives you asthma and makes you sneeze. Not cool.
I am so mad, I accidentally deleted a voice message from Pam and didn't get to write down her number. It's only been a week out of school and I miss my friends already! Now Joan's gone out to a party and I'm here alone. It's saturday night. I'm giving Meghan a call to see if we can hang out or something tonight. So I'm about to bizzout. One!

02MAY22;03:34pm I'm sure you've heard about the Skakel murder case, the suicide of a Catholic priest who was one of many let out on charges of child molestation from the 70's, and the murder of a 13-year-old girl by a pedophile she met with, all incidents in Connecticut. No, neither are good. News like this in my own state makes me sick. I hope you know what your children are doing on their computers. And if you're religious, feel free to bring your faith outside of the church if you don't feel safe in it. I don't feel like talking about any of this any further, it just doesn't make for a happy day.

02MAY16;08:14pm So long Southern, so long New Haven, I'll see you in three and a half months. I'm home for the summer. I can't believe I had so much crap to bring home, the station wagon was filled to the top with luggage and stuff. And yeah I'm the one who rocked the authentic 60's manufactured luggage, plaid and all. Filled out applications for Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport. I seem to have lots of things planned for the summer it's not even funny. The Fitch kids want me to go see the Talent/Fashion show this saturday held by this year's seniors and their graduation in June. Hopefully I'll have time and the confidence to set foot in my old high school again to visit Mr. Frasc, I haven't seen or talked to him since graduation. I miss my choir kids. So so so happy for them to win seven first place awards at the festival this year. Like Steph says, Fitch is first in every sport and competition it's sick. And for the record, I'm not one of those people holding on to memories of high school, grasping at its balls not wanting to let go. High school is done and over with and I'm glad I was strong enough to get through it. (comment)

Blasting music out of a caravan with madwoman Sharon at the wheel is definitely some good times. These are my girls. HOLLER! I am so gonna go thru withdrawl this summer without them. I'll tell you a secret, I don't love my high school friends as much as my college friends. It's a great experience. Even if I may be failing a class... So, back to studying for that big bio exam and finishing up the paper. Tell me a joke to make me forget how screwed I am. (comment)

Ana and I will be rommmates in her same room next semester. Pam, Amy, Stephanie, and Sam were all hoping to get into another better dorm but she was denied. Funny, the sports people get priority. Even if their records show that they've been written up and have low GPAs they still get priority. They're drug-doing, smoking drinkers and they get priority over students who are in great standing with the university, have good GPAs, are clean and was denied to them what they ought to have deserved. 02MAY12;11:37pm I'm getting more interested in MSNBC and the CNN channel. This is good. More specifically, the "CNN Next" program. Saturday's show had a portion of the program about blogs (kinda like this one you're reading). It's the first time I have ever heard about a great internet trend somewhere in the offline world. I've read many online articles about blogs but to see it described on tv to an audience of people who wouldn't know jack about it is quite amazing. There is so much that the internet has to offer that only so much people know how much good resources are available to them everytime they log on. They mentioned Blogger and Blogdex. Blogs are good. Most of them at least. So I like to watch techie shows. And?
I've been thinking. My friend Hope is going to be giving birth in late August/early September. She hasn't had a baby shower yet. Tradition says that either a family member or close friend should plan/host it. None of her family members care for her pregnancy. Since she's not in school at the moment, I'm practically the only person she's been keeping in contact with. We're not best friends, but close enough. I'm thinking it'd be a good idea for a baby shower because she needs the supplies, but am I the person to start planning?
One more thought for tonight. Who's noticed the "reunion" trend? First it was Laverne & Shirley. (Maybe it was the Jackson 5?) Then Mary Tyler Moore. Coming soon is Mash. Is anybody else hoping for an old favorite show to make a come back? Keep your fingers crossed, it might just happen. (comment)

I've been out and about. Really had nothing of relevance to say in the past week or so. I mean I could tell you about all the butt-holes that I've come across on the road, or how Joan and I painted a cute vase for mom's day, or how I still dislike my ghetto college, but now I give things a second thought and I wouldn't even feel like hearing about this kind of shit from myself if I weren't myself.
I'm looking forward to summer vacation. Been job hunting. Planning to call all my old friends when I move back home. Took more photos of my friends here that I'll post up sooner or later. I now have a favorite episode of Cheers; the one with Harry Connick, Jr. as a guest character is so presh. If you're a cute guy, can sing and play piano, my heart is yours. Saturday Night Live was alright but I got a little jealous of Kirsten Dunst as Jimmy Fallon and Eminem were both all over her last night. That's typical for pretty girls to take my guys away from me. 02MAY04;05:01pm I'm here this weekend. Nobody can pick me up besides dad who is in/or maybe out of the hospital. It's been a day. I need to call home. Nobody would call me to update me on papa's condition. The last I was told was that he went to the hospital for his back and is taking meds for it. I hope he's ok.
I've come up with many a different ideas of what the noises are I'm hearing from the guys above me. I think they're lifting weights then dropping them on the floor. Monique also went to bitch out the loud guys below us. Good.
Oh and I remember why I like to go home for the weekend. To get away from the loud ass bitches I call my neighbors. I can't even sleep in peace without waking up to them screaming at each other. People have lost repect for others and I have lost my respect for them. le sigh. just counting down the days until school is over now.
John Mayer is very enthusiastic with his guitar like Dave Matthews. Anyone see the similarities? Nonetheless I like him and his music, similar or not. (comment)
02MAY04;06:42pm Dinner was blah. Talked to Jane and dad's home resting. The cause of his illness is something like a result of fishing in the rain and his muscles tensed up. He's taking relaxers and in bed for the next week or so. I'm gonna call home just to tell 'em I'm fine over here and not to worry, just worry about themselves.
I'm swooning over guys with guitars at the moment. I've got G. Love, John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Dave Matthews serenading me on the current playlist. (comment)

I am happier now to have spent too long of a time at Conn Hall just talking away with my friend Pam admitting how much of lazy bums we are. Not until now that I'm in college I am so comfortable to be myself around my friends. I am so gonna miss my friends this summer! No offense to my high school friends back home but I just don't get this comfortable and close to them as I do here...at least the ones I've kept in contact with (which is very few) I still enjoy their company. I am I rambling? I must be procrastinating.

It says all students from SCSU, CCSU, Sacred Heart U., and U. of New Haven are invted. I have no idea what it's gonna be, I guess just a night of all these students in the same club.
