One resolution I need to keep is to get my timing right. Happy New Year! Yeah, it's old already. Joan & I rang in the new year with Dick Clark, Carson Daly, Brittany Murphy, and Ashton Kutcher. I swear, Dick Clark and Cher both sold their souls to the devil so they can stay alive for another 50 years. That Futurama episode with only Mr. Clark's head doesn't seem so far from the truth. The ball dropped and I had some sparkling Asti wine to celebrate. Laughed my butt off watching the Cartoon Network New Year's Eve special, then hit the sack. Good, safe fun. The idea of doing some kind of "year-end recap" always pops in my mind. Right after that I think to myself, the year had it's highs and lows, i've had my highs and lows. all in all, i'd like to leave it in the past like it is. now's the time to start making 2003 even better than 2002. So that's what I'm going to do. I've got expectations, goals, and resolutions to be achieved in 2003. I don't want to tell you about them because by habit, I usually say I'm going to do something and end up not doing it at all. If I keep it to myself and just do it (Nike didn't pay me for that plug), then I can tell you how it all works out in the end. I'm going to end it at that. I'm optimistic and am looking forward to whatever comes my way this year. Okay, so I said I won't do a year-end thing, but I can't forget the fun times I had with my friends. We know, we're insane!
