12/11/2002 Entry: "december 11th, 2002"

I'm coining a new phrase. scrub.bum. That's what I am. Today at least. I woke up 10 minutes to 9am, jumped out of bed, tied my hair back, and ran in my pajamas to get to my psychology exam in time. It was crazy, I didn't even give myself time to have my morning ritual piss. My leg was shaking all 45 minutes I was filling in bubbles on that answer form. You better believe it I made a beeline towards the bathroom to get it out of my system, then back to the dorm to wash my face, brush teeth, everything I was supposed to do earlier.

Despite what happened this morning, my day has been much better than the last couple weeks have been. The choir concert last night was great, the only weird part of it was me being the only kid not having a family to come see me after the concert. I meant to tell the family, but I didn't want them to waste gas and 2 hours drive to come see me, it's not like they've never seen me onstage before. Mom came to all of my choir concerts from elementary up to high school. I'm giving them a break this time. Fast forward to this afternoon, Stephanie and I are going to be roomies next semester. After much consulting with the hall director and housing director and anybody else we can complain to, we got a room together in this dorm. We're treated like crap no matter how good we are as students, that's not right. The school system is so screwed up, it's not even funny. Don't get me started about how much things at this university are pissing me off.

My roomie is unintentionally doing classical conditioning on me through bachata music and the Protagonistas show on Telemundo. (FYI, Protagonistas is a show on the spanish channel, it's like a cross between American Idol & Big Brother.) When she puts on bachata, I start dancing. When it hits 8pm, I know the tv turns to the spanish channel. I now know that the band on her bachata cd is A Ventura, and Protagonistas just pissed me off when they voted off Daniel, a really hot hispanic guy who can sing but the other competitors were jealous of him so he had to go. I don't know what they're saying, but roomie cares enough to clue us in on what's going on.

My hair's long again. I'm thinking of getting layers, maybe highlights as well. I'll figure things out soonish. In the meantime, have a great week.

seriously! tomrrow i'll blog about it :) take a picture if you see someone w/a broken heel. I'll put it on as my desktop/daily reminder not to dress up when going to school.

Hey, there's always the sexy (60 year old) professor to impress!
