08/19/2002 Entry: "shop, school"

It's been a few days, eh?

Calling all crafty and entreprenurial folk! I'm about toup the shop pretty soon. I just want to get it up and running so you'll probably notice it's using an old layout. But, if you make and sell some of your little creations and wouldn't mind having it showcased in the shop please drop me a line. If you sew, knit, have photography prints, make a zine or whathaveyou and would like some extra exposure I'd be glad to give you a spot on the page. (FYI, the shop isn't as great as I probably mention it, it's just a small make-some-extra-money-on-the-side kinda thing.)

So the countdown to the end of summer has begun. When's everyone going back to school? Excited, nervous, or no comment?

christine- nice to meet ya!

Julia- I hope your first couple days moving in went alright. You say *you're* scared that you won't get along with the girls?! It was hard for me to make friends too, it took me a whole year to identify who'd be good friends with me aside from all the others.

Nara- I hear ya. I just got granted financial aid (finally) and I'm so glad to get it, it helps me so much.

Noor & Maly- Send me pictures of what you'd like to sell and I'll post 'em up for ya =)

I start school right after labor day. I'm not excited, or nervous...I'm STRESSED.

I must admit that I'm starting to miss the good times I had in college. I don't miss the homework or exams, though!

BTW, I'd be interested in your little crafty shop thing. I just paint, though.

In a way I've been enjoying the summer but in another way I just want school to start already. I'm back to school on Sept. 30th and until then I'm going to broke. I can't wait for the financial aide deposit, heheh :)

I'm pretty excited for school to start. I move in on Wed the 21st and then I start classes on the 26th. I am kinda nervous too because I am scared that I won't get along with the girls there. It's hard for me to make friends.

hmm... i have to say that i'm rather excited about school starting. i can't wait to move back into the dorms, start classes, be back on campus again. also, great site. i've been coming here for quite some time, but i don't think that i've ever left a comment or anything before. i'm just lazy like that hehe.
